So, yesterday (Day 14) I was supposed to compliment people all day. I did pay some compliments, and they went over well. Everyone loves a little flattery. It's usually easier, though, when you genuinely believe them.
Actually, I walked into the office with Charles and he was asking me about my job and how I liked it. I told him that believe it or not I really liked it here and that I was very happy to be working with this company and it's people. Thank the gods that my honest answer was a positive one, because my CFO overheard me and hollered: "I don't believe you!" Jokingly from around the corner.
Today, though is Gay for a Day! So, my goal has been to check out women. To that effect, I am about to search OKCupid for possible Lesbian matches (in case I ever feel the need to abandon the man-ship). Typically, I do notice when women are attractive, but I tend to think of that as a survival of the fittest sort of thing - Again with the snap judgements and evaluations on clothing, smile, hair, attractiveness, etc.
So, the first gal that pulled up looked like what our child would grow into if Renee and I had a baby. VERY funny. The next few looked too young. Apparently, if I choose to switch teams, I'll be aiming for a cougar?! Or at least someone a little older. Also, a woman with more masculine features. I think I'd still like to be "the girl" in the relationship. I can be a tomboy, but I am not butch. I'd like to still be feminine. I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. Anyways, I will continue to check out some lovely ladies throughout the day.

Daily experiences, stories, and ponderances as I work my way through "This Book Will Change Your Life."
The Lowdown
Who: Laura Latterman, with cameos by Nancy Decker
What: The original idea was for the two of us to try and follow the book and actually adhere to the rules (as much within our abilities and safety). However, it seems that I, Laura, will be doing most of the blogging - Seeing as how I'm the only one crazy enough to keep up with it. I'll share little tidbits about my life in general and my book-related accomplishments. Feedback and suggestions are appreciated!
Why: Mostly because I can; however, it also gives me an odd hobby and adds some spice to my life. And, it's a great way for my friends and family to keep up with me.
When: Day 1 was August 12th, 2010... It's a loooong work in progress.
Where: Littleton, Colorado & San Juan Capistrano, California
And this is where the magic begins...
